Dermal Fillers are used to soften lines, folds and wrinkles; enhance lip volume and shape, and create contours in the face, giving your skin a much smoother and youthful appearance.

The treatment process lasts between 20-30 minutes, and depending on you skin type and the area chosen to be contoured our clinician will select the appropriate product. A topical anaesthetic is applied to the required area to ensure complete comfort prior to placement. There is only mild discomfort, but some patients may experience slight swelling and redness.

At st ann’s facial we only use biodegradable dermal fillers which have a well established safety record with no severe adverse effects.

The effects of dermal fillers vary from 6-9 months dependant upon which filler is used.
